Investing in real estate can be nerve wracking and intimidating, causing some to delay getting started. With plenty of knowledge and experience, we spoke with Tim Blake, a Commercial Realtor and Real Estate Investor who made his first investment at the age of 18. If you’re interested in learning more on what the journey of investing in real estate could look like, this episode is for you! 

In 2017, Blake began investing in the commercial asset class after buying office units in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Liking it much more than residential, he now focuses on building and managing a commercial portfolio and inviting partners into deals. His portfolio includes a 24-suite apartment building with light industrial shops, offices, mobile home parks, and single family homes. 

Blake is happily married with two little girls, has a passion for hockey and loves to travel!
